Do you also think sex toy lubricants are too expensive? Here’s how to make your own lube on the cheap!
They only contain a couple of ingredients and they are very easy to make at home. You buy all the ingredients from Amazon and health food stores. It’s obviously more convenient to buy a couple of bottles of water based lube then it is to cook up your own but this is so easy to make that I just had to share this recipe. It’s harder to boil Ramen noodles then it is to make your own homemade lube! You are going to be like: “Why do they charge $15 bucks for this?” when you are done.

Homemade Personal Lubricant Recipe:
It’s very easy to make your own lubricant, you only need 3 ingredients:
Version 1:
1 teaspoon of Vegetable Glycerin (cost: ~$5)
1/8th teaspoon of Xanthan Gum (cost: ~$5)
4 teaspoons of Water (cost: Free)
Version 2:
1 part Vegetable Glycerin
1/8 part Xanthan Gum
4 parts Water
You are also going to need a teaspoon to measure and a mixing bowl.
Homemade Lube Instructions
Get a mixing bowl. Start by adding 1 teaspoon with of Vegetable Glycerin then add about 1/8th of a teaspoon with Xanthan gum (add more for a thicker consistency). Blend the two ingredients until they dissolve then add 4 teaspoons of warm (not hot) water.
Important: Always start by adding Xanthan gum to the vegetable glycerin, mix it well until it has dissolved then add water.
If you want a thicker lubricant mix you can add more Xanthan gum. If you want a more runny mix you can add more water. Play around with different amounts until you find what works best for you. If you are going to use this lube with your Fleshlight I suggest that you add a little extra water so you don’t end up with a mixture that’s too thick. You will enjoy your Fleshlight more with a watery lube because your penis will be more sensitive to the inner texture of the Fleshlight when it’s not covered with a thick layer of lube.
It takes 5 minutes to whip together a batch of fresh homemade lube and you can use the lubricant shortly after you made it. There are no preservatives in this lube so it is not going to last forever ( a day or two). I guess that’s the only downside compared to store bought lubricants. There are ways to add your own preservatives to make it last just as long as factory made lube but I have not tried it myself.
There are many other ways to make waterbased lubricants at home. You can use a cornstarch and water mixture but I found this to be the easiest recipe to put together since it doesn’t require any preparation or cooking process. Good luck!
